Ann Groninger and Valerie Johnson have represented people in North Carolina for a combined five decades. Valerie and Ann started the firm with the goal to focus on the needs of individuals who have been injured on the road or in the workplace or other settings. With offices in Charlotte and Durham, North Carolina, our practice serves clients statewide.
With extensive experience in our focused areas of practice, the firm has obtained notable results on behalf of clients in personal injury, wrongful death, and workers’ compensation. We represent individuals in courts around the state, in complex litigation before all North Carolina courts and in the North Carolina Industrial Commission.
Our attorneys are well positioned to serve the interests of clients. Valerie Johnson is a past president of the NC Advocates for Justice, is the vice chair of Lawyers Mutual Liability Insurance Company, and teaches Trial Advocacy at the University of North Carolina. Ann Groninger was inducted into the American Board of Trial Advocates and regularly presents at professional education seminars. Jennifer is bilingual in Spanish and English and is a past chair of the Hispanic /Latino Legal Issues Division of the NC Advocates for Justice. Drew currently serves as a Vice President for NCAJ for DEI. All of our attorneys are active in bar and public interest organizations. From this solid foundation, our trial lawyers have achieved notable verdicts and decisions recovering millions of dollars in compensation for victims of serious injury.
