CJG Partner Valerie Johnson will be giving marching orders to some future lawyers on April 4. The Transition-to-Practice Boot Camp held by UNC Law School’s Career Development Office, is an intensive career prep session aimed at teaching soon-to-be-attorneys how to succeed in the practical aspects of running a business. Valerie will be sharing her expertise with students during a session titled “The Business of the Law: How to Keep the Lights On.”
Topics discussed at the program include professionalism in the workplace, working with individuals of different generations, and how to serve clients while paying the bills.
Valerie is no stranger to the classroom. As a former school teacher, she regularly serves as an adjunct at UNC Law School and has taught at Wake Forest University Law School.
