A recent story by WUNC raised the question of whether North Carolina can ever resume its use of the death penalty given that the drug needed to do so is not available. David Weiss was interviewed for the story and explained that, if executions are ever resumed, it should be done in a way that is transparent and permits input from experts and members of the public.
