Valerie Johnson honored by the College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers

Johnson & Groninger attorney Valerie Johnson was inducted into the American Bar Association College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers at its 9th Annual Induction Dinner, held in Naples, Florida in March.

Valerie’s practice focuses heavily on representing North Carolina workers and their rights. She has a particular interest in fighting for the rights of injured workers, and in-depth knowledge of the law of workers’ compensation as it affects state employees, union members, police officers and all types of North Carolina workers.

The College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers honors the select attorneys who have distinguished themselves in the field of workers’ compensation. Valerie was nominated for the outstanding traits she has developed in her practice of 21 years representing plaintiffs. With this induction, Valerie is acknowledged by her peers to possess the highest professional qualifications and ethical standards, character, integrity and leadership.

In addition to this award, Valerie is also listed in Best Lawyers in America in the area of workers’ compensation. For nearly a decade, she has been listed as a North Carolina Super Lawyer in the area of workers’ compensation law. Johnson & Groninger PLLC fights for people throughout North Carolina who have been injured, abused or treated unlawfully.
